WE HAVE A PROBLEM!!

Hayley don't like Biggie.

This week I really want...

....a pair of Premium 6" Timberland boots. I had a pair in what some may refer to as my Wigga era, a look I am partially bringing back. I've been wanting a pair for a few months now but as I  am not spending money in 2011, spending £125 on these would kinda f' that up. Plus £125 is pretty steep if you ask me. I was pretty pissed to see Amber Rose rockin a pair the other day in a pap pic and also in the new Fabulous vid (he mentions them in the song as well). So basically they'll be all owa the place soon, a bit like the patent leather Doc Martens she wore last year.  I did come across this article on how to wear Timberland boots which I thought would be bullshit but it's actually quite good advice, it'll help you not look like me circa 2001 and trust thats a good thing.

  • Tuck your skinny jeans into the Timberlands, making sure that the tongue is over, as opposed to under, the jeans. If wearing flared jeans with Timberlands, make sure that the jeans are long enough to reach the sole of the boots.

  • Wear classic, flat soled Timberlands with leggings and a mini skirt. If you own the women's style that resembles a heeled bootee, wear them with leggings and a sweater dress.

  • Pair knee-long sweat pants or men's shorts with Timberlands and a fitted T-shirt. For a casual look, tie the boots loosely so that the tongue hangs out.

  • Fold the fabric portion of roll-top Timberlands down so that the pattern is visible. Alternatively, keep the fabric in its original position when your look requires high-top boots

  • Nike Women

I noticed this ad on the cover of last weeks Stylist, and I'm enjoying it just as much this week. It's all a bit gritty which we like, it makes us feel like going and sweating it out at the gym, maybe.

    Monsoon

Monsoon isn't really on my radar when I go shopping, but I might have to pop in there after seeing this beaut if today's You magazine. I had a lil gander of their website and they had a few more surprises (literally the 2 below). Shame the product photo's are shite, retailers need to take tips from ASOS and put some people inside the clothes- it makes em alot more appealing.

    Price Tag

I know everyone and their Mother is ravin bout Jessie J at the min, but to be fair I think they have good reason. I weren't sure bout this song at first, but it's a grower. Feelin the garms in the video- especially the black lace bodysuit thing.

I came across Jessie quite a while ago when she used to put videos on YouTube of her singing in her bedroom, check em out asap if you haven't already. Not only is Jessie a BossLady she's very charismatic and as wor Simon says she has the likeable factor. Oh and her nail game is on point, something we highly appreciate at F&F. This  is one of my faves, good for Sunday vibes-

    When I grow up....

    ....I wana be Hillary.

    I heart Nike

I have a sexy white and patent leather pair of Nike Dunk Low’s from their Valentines Day collection circa 2005. They are mashed! I have since learnt to keep my kicks in good nick by consistently buying new ones, such as these badgals! Im not that into high tops these days, but for you my dear I will make an exception.

    Dior

I’m currently reading Christian Dior’s autobiography, which I recommend to anybody who wants to become a Couture BadMan or just anyone interested in fashion. It focuses on his professional life, giving an insightful look into how Parisian Couture houses operated in the 40’s/50’s. It makes you want to go back in time and be part of these glamorous and traditional events, a must see for socialites of the time. Lucky for us John Galliano was inspired by Mr Dior’s illustrator RenĂ© Gruau this season. Bringing back that old school glamor, rarely seen these days. To be fair unless your walking down a red carpet, your not that likely to rock any of these outfits- don’t think they would work in Mushroom on a Friday night, we can still day dream though.

    Hot Couture!

This Couture shows are my fave. Bring on the crystals, silks, embroidery, satins, sequins, feathers and in Givenchy’s case the antler/tv aerial robotic head wear. Again Riccardo Tisci has created a breath taking, technically incomprehensible collection. I mean this is off the chizain! I’m not really gona say much- there’s no point. Just let the clothes wash over you.

    Hey Barbz

I’m a Barbie girl, in a Barbie world! Miss Minaj is reminding us just how good Barbie was (we won’t discuss the fact that Minaj is inappropriately sexing up childs toy) we’re just gona reminisce.

    F.A.B.O

Wicked tune! Whack video! Come on Fabo you can do better than Yezzy’s jump-offs!
